My name is .. I was born in ... I have finished elementary, middle and high school in where I was born. I took German classes as second foreign language in high school and played basketball as licenced player both in middle and high school teams. I have always had interest in physics and technology. So after I took the University Entrance Exam, I got accepted by Gazi University Mechanical Engineering and I moved to Ankara. After I have finished the preparatory school of Gazi University and went to Engineering Department. I quite did not like the education system in the university which is basically teorical knowledge mostly and lack of practical information and I could not see myself as a successfull engineer with this way.
I have stopped attending to classes and I believe that failure teach you more lesson than success does. So I did not lose my motivation. During the time I have focused on my english and mostly on computers. I have taught myself coding because I believe computers has even stronger part in the future and people need to talk to them in their language. This process actually made my goal clearer, I wanted to use computers in a way that benefits humanity with actions not only behind monitors but in the fields. Cars that drive by itself or robots that helps the household or maybe machines in industry making the productions faster, better, easier made me excited. Before I wanted to be an engineer but now I know exactly what kind of engineer that I want to be. An engineer who use computer language to give machines real time commands with the power of electricity. This is basically definition of mechatronic engineering. Knowledge of 3 disciplines of engineering; mechanics, electrics and computing will give me an edge over other branches of engineering, it will help me to see solutions in many possible ways, it will help me to have job opportunities widely and most importantly it will serve me to pursue my dreams.
I want to get the best education possible so when engineering is mentioned, Germany comes to mind first. Also when I heard about Applied Science Universities of Germany, I thought it is perfect for me because I wanted to get the practical experience along with teorical information. So Applied Science Universities giving you exactly this and Germany as the motherland of engineering, with the best universities along with best and experienced lecturers, prestigious and worldwide accepted degrees, could not be any better. Plus I will able to see amazing sightseeings and communicate along with many local and international students.
I have done my research and applied to FHWS. The options were not too many for me because I was specific about what I was looking for. I wanted to have fully grasp on the classes so education language should be English in my case. Plus FHWS is a Applied Sciences University that I was looking for application and practice. Also, they have 10 different faculties, over 40 degree programmes, about 200 professors so it shows their quality as a university. Moreover, the twin certificate option which you can complete your study in English and German so able to get 2 language certificate along with your prestigious German degree is amazing, partnering with 150 universities worldwide, multicultural teams and last but not least they have German lessons in the first two semesters that is a really good chance for both my future career and social life in Germany. I am really looking forward to attend those German classes.
As admission requirements of FHWS I have proved my english with TOEFL exam and started an internship which will end on 15 September 2017. With this internship I have had experience about modern engineering. I have seen computers and machines works combined beatifully. CNC machines that I have used, which means Computer Numerical Control is just one example. This internship made me more focused about my goals and I have started developing some ideas about how these machines can be improven or new computing based machines can be producted. I have also studied some German for daily, basic communication in Germany and to be prepared for those German lessons FHWS provides. Finally I got my full acceptance letter from them now I am one step away getting an education in Germany.
After I will have finished the university, I would like to come back to Turkey and evaluate the job options that I will most probably get many with outstanding German education and degree, knowledge of 2 foreign language with many other experiences. Furthermore I want to prove that how good education can really make the difference.
So I kindly request the acceptance of my visa application and greatly thank you for your consideration.
Best Regards,
